Forms Effective January 1, 2004, anyone who submits an application to the Institutional Review Board (IRB) will need to provide documentation that they have reviewed the modules at the website Education in the Responsible Conduct in Research (RCR). As each module is completed, an email is automatically generated and can be forwarded with the IRB application or printed and attached as part of the application. You may also print the page shown at the completion of the module and attach it. This curriculum covers 9 topics relevant to RCR and presents learning objectives, relevant UM policies, resource links, and references for each of the 9 modules. Modules 1-8 are required. Module nine is required if you are using animals in research or teaching, but is optional to all others.
